SUBJECT: Clearance of Construction Area-Yomitan-Son

TO: The Governor
Okinawa Gunto Government

1. You are requested to inform the Mayor of Yomitan-Son that the areas outlined in red on attached sketch must be cleared for construction purposes of the United States Government.

2. Such clearance requires the removal of crops and other indigenous activities. Clearance will be effected in accordance with the needs of the contractor as construction progresses with the area indicated cross-hatched in red on attached sketch to be given priority.
