Subject: Construction of New Road, In Yomitan Son

To:

A farming-road run through Agari-baru Aza-Takashiho, Yomitan Son has been cut off and included in new-taking U.S. Military area for the purpose of the Nike project, as referred to in the CA Ordinance No.164 in last March.

The above mentioned road runs from the farming area of Futaishi-baru, Haneji-baru, Ogikawa-baru and Oishi-baru of Aza-Nagahama to the sugar manufactory in Yomitan Son and has been utilized as sugar-cane transportation road.

They are, therefore, in necessary of new-construction of a road replacing the above road, along the fences around the Nike Base as shown in attached sketch.

You are, therefore, respectfully requested that the petition submitted from the chief and all the villager of Nagahama-ku be approved at the earliest possible date, upon actual investigation.
