Dear Sir:
It is requested that authority be granted for personnel and employees of the U.S. Army Engineer District, Okinawa to enter the area of 16.7 acres shown on map furnished your office on 16 June 1958 for the purpose of conductiong topographic survey.
Permission is requested for entry as soon as possible after 18 June 1958. It is anticipated that survey work will be accomplished on or before 30 August 1958.
It is understood; that permission to be granted will be for conduction of topographic surveys only, that no personnel will be billeted on the lands involved, that no structures will be placed on the land, and that, although no damages to privately-owned crops or improvements are anticipated, any such damage which may inadvertently result will be expeditiously paid for by the United States in accordance with its established claims procedures.

　沖縄地区工兵隊の人員並びに従業員に、地形測量の遂行を目的とする1958年6月16日付、貴村役所に提示せる地図に示す16.7エーカーにわたる地域への入域権限を付与されんことを要請します。
1958年6月18日以後の出来るだけ早期に入域に対する許可下付を要請します。測量作業は1958年8月30日当日またはその日以前に完了する予定です。
　なお付与される許可は地形調査の遂行のみに対するもので、人員は当該地に宿泊せずまたいかなる建造物をも地上に設置しないのはもちろん、さらに個人所有農作物あるいは、改良物に対する損害はないと思うが、しかし偶発せる損害に対してはすべて制定された損害賠償手続に基き、米合衆国により速やかに補償される。

ここに入場許可を付与する。
